Visiting the Auschwitz and Birkenau Museum
This tour is different from most standard tours to Auschwitz, so make sure it is for you and read the tour plan carefully. During this experience you will have the opportunity to visit more sites and exhibits that are not available during a normal large group tour. Tour plan: We will leave from Krakow. To avoid large groups of tourists in the museum, our tour will first go to the "Judenrampe", this was a railroad siding near the Birkenau camp where the "selection" of prisoners took place (most of the Auschwitz visitors don't get see it). Then you will go to visit "Auschwitz II Birkenau", which was the largest extermination camp. You will spend about 2 hours there, see the prisoner barracks, the famous death gate and the ruins of the largest gas chambers and crematoria. Before entering the camp I will explain to you exactly what to pay attention to and lend you a guidebook with a description of the places you will see and map of the camp. Then you will go to the "Auschwitz I" camp, where you will spend about 2 hours. This is now the main museum, where you will find a gate with the inscription "Arbeit Macht Frei," an exhibition housed in former prisoner blocks, a reconstructed first gas chamber with a crematorium, personal artifacts belonging to prisoners, and lots of stories about the place. After visiting the museum, we will return to Krakow.

Wroclaw History Walk
This is the only tour through Wrocław's history you'll need! We'll go on an unforgettable and fascinating journey through the more than 1,000 years of Wrocław's history. We will discover the interesting diversity of our great city, with its mixed legacy of Polish, Czech, Austrian, and Germanic influences. We will discover the most important sights of our city, such as the old Town Hall, Market Square, the 300 year-old Baroque University building, our local Market Hall, as well as Sand and Cathedral Islands with the grandiose Wrocław Cathedral. During our walk through the history of Wrocław we will tell the funny stories and quirky legends that are hiding behind each building: a war over beer, arguments between the church and the city authorities, and fights between dukes and bishops. We will discover the strange medieval world of Wrocław and how its inhabitants have shaped Central Europe. We'll talk about how people used to live here, how they were punished for crimes, and the spiritual battles that took between the competing religious leaders. Along the way we will also find many of the gnome statues that make our city so special, and you will learn about why Wrocław is known as the "City of Gnomes." We'll talk about the history of these small figures, where they came from, and why they are so important to our city. Our experience is a great introduction to Wrocław!

The experience will be guided by us—enthusiastic locals who hold the timeless secrets passed down from our grandmothers: the cherished pierogi recipe. Under our expert guidance, you'll craft these delectable parcels of joy from scratch. From kneading the dough to folding and filling, you'll master the very essence of pierogi creation. But that's not all! After perfecting your pierogi, you'll have the pleasure of savoring and enjoying your homemade delicacies accompanied by a local beer or a glass of wine. Throughout the class, we'll explore two distinct types of pierogi: 1. Pierogi Ruskie, also known as Ruthenian Dumplings—the main type of pierogi in Poland. The filling consists of boiled potatoes combined with creamy and tangy white cheese (twaróg). 2. Sweet Pierogi with fresh fruits—fruit-filled pierogi are cherished as a main course during summer and autumn. You'll have the chance to prepare pierogi with fruits currently in season. We're excited to invite you to share a taste of our childhood memories and beloved family traditions. By joining us, you'll connect with the warmth and nostalgia that pierogi evoke. TasteVodka - Polish Vodka Tasting Tour
We kick things off at the first bar with a big spread of Polish style tapas. Think fresh crusty breads, tasty cured meats, smoked and salted mountain cheeses. With the food you’ll be sampling two incredible and historic Polish clear vodkas while taking our crash course in vodka history, production and culture. There's lots of funny stories and we keep the history short and sweet although us guides will be more than happy to go into more detail throughout the tour. We’ll then take you on an adventure through the cobblestone streets of Kraków’s UNESCO World Heritage Old Town to explore the city’s hidden vodka bars and cafes. You’ll step back in time through the doors of a communist era shot bar, explore one of Europe’s only home-made flavoured vodka cafes and get cosy in a hole-in-the wall candlelit vodka bar boasting more than one-hundred varieties. The flavoured vodkas really are mind-blowingly good and there's more than two-hundred varieties stocked by the bars on the tour. At the end of the tour we'll be stopping off to check out the city’s best Pierogi in our favourite foodie joint, perfect to soak up all the vodka and make sure you're not too wobbly on your feet :) Other things to note Please do not arrive intoxicated. It is illegal for you to be served. Persons under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and cannot participate in the consumption of alcohol on the tour.
